Sirohiya, who was arrested in a citizenship case, was brought to Kathmandu by a helicopter on Tuesday.

Doctors have reported that Sirohiya suffers from heart and high blood pressure issues. He has been referred to Medicity Hospital in Kathmandu for advanced medical care.

On May 21, Sirohiya was arrested by police at the KMG office in Kathmandu. He was then taken to Dhanusha based on a complaint of citizenship offense filed on April 28 by Madhesh Provincial Assembly member of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Indrajit Prasad Mahato.
