JANAKPUR, May 22: Kantipur Media Group (KMG) Chairman Kailash Sirohiya was brought to Janakpur this morning following his arrest.
Sirohiya was detained from the KMG Headquarters in Thapathali and brought to the Dhanusha District Police Office this morning. He is currently being held by Dhanusha police.
The arrest was made after the District Court of Dhanusha issued a warrant on Tuesday. The Valley Crime Investigation Office in Kathmandu apprehended Sirohiya at the request of the Dhanusha police.
A complaint was filed against Sirohiya with the Dhanusha police on April 28, alleging that the citizenship number he obtained from the District Administration Office in Dhanusha matches the citizenship number of another individual.
