KMC launches mobile game development training to boost employment

KATHMANDU, April 9: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) is launching training programs for mobile game development.


KMC is rolling out mobile game development training as part of the employment boosting initiative under the Metropolis Golden Scheme.


The KMC has invited applications from interested individuals keen on participating in mobile game development training.

According to training coordinator Dilchandra Pandey, enrollment will be based on submitted applications.


"Our initial phase will train 20 individuals as a pilot to assess the impact on employment, following which we will expand the training," Pandey said.


He added that the metropolis is conducting a total of 35 training programs under this initiative, covering software-related topics alongside mobile game development.


"Mobile game development training is expected to spur job creation due to high demand in the field," Pandey said.
