Police had earlier arrested Sherpa´s accomplice Biru Thami aka Rajan of Ghumthang-2, Sindhupalchowk, on the charge of abduction with the help of locals about two and half months ago.
They had abducted Phoolmaya and Sita from their home three months ago. Sherpa confessed to the police that they had kept the two in Kanchha Sherpa´s house in Ghumthang after kidnapping them.
Police had rescued the two from Bahrabise two days later.
