Khadka, Bhandari join Police

KATHMANDU, March 21: Nepal Police Club has recruited midfielder Ganesh Khadka and defender Ajeet Bhandari in its football team. Khadka, a product of ANFA Academy is currently associated with the Himalayan Sherpa Club and had scored three goals for the team.



"I have started training with Police for the past two weeks and will play for the team from the next season," said Khadka. [break]



The new season in Nepali football begins from Nepali New Year (April 14). Bhandari is the defender of Bauddha Club that was relegated to B division finishing at the bottom of table.



He has scored one goal for the team.



"They are young players with good sense of football and their arrival has made the entire team happy," Parbat Pandey, senior player of the Police Club said to the Republica.
