Former Minister Roshan Karki promised to donate Rs. 4 million for the museum to be constructed by the Chhetri Samaj.
Rs 20 million was raised on the first day after philanthropists Prem Bahadur GC who donated Rs 500,000, Bharat Basnet of Kathmandu (Rs 1.72 million) and others, said Chhetri Samaj Central General Secretary Kumar Khadka.
The priest reciting the Mahayagya was Pandit Bhagawat Bhaskar Kamalnayan Gautam.
