Kavre-based journalist Bishnu Chaulagain dies of COVID-19

KATHMANDU, Oct 30: Kavrepalanchowk-based journalist Bishnu Prasad Chaulagain died of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Friday. He was 51.

KATHMANDU, Oct 30: Kavrepalanchowk-based journalist Bishnu Prasad Chaulagain died of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Friday. He was 51.

He had been staying isolated at his home after being diagnosed with COVID-19 on October 12. Chaulagain was admitted to Om Hospital in Kathmandu with high fever. He was also suffering from bronchitis. Chaulagain was the editor-in-chief of Kavre Post, a local weekly newspaper.


Meanwhile, people from the media fraternity paid tributes to late Chaulagain on Friday. President of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Govinda Acharya, expressed condolence on the demise of journalist Chaulagain.
