Kathmandu Valley witnesses 92 new case of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours

KATHMANDU, Aug 9: As many as 92 new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-190 were recorded in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).

Of the total cases, 90 were detected in Kathmandu district alone.

Similarly, two new cases were detected in Lalitpur district. Bhaktapur district, however, did not report any cases in the last 24 hours. 

The MoHP confirmed 380 new cases of COVID-19 across the country and two COVID-19 related deaths on Sunday. So far, 75 people have succumbed to this disease across the country.
