Kathmandu Valley's temperature plunges to 2.8 degree Celsius

KATHMANDU, Dec 16: The Kathmandu Valley's air temperature has dropped to 2.8 degree Celsius on Wednesday.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Metrology, 2.8 degree Celsius is so far the least recorded air temperature of the Valley this year.

The temperature of the Valley was recorded at 3 degree Celsius on Tuesday and 4 degree Celcious on Monday.

The Valley, along with other places across the country, is witnessing a sharp drop in the air temperature. Livelihood has been hardly hit. Health experts have advised the general public to stay cautious and warm.

The Department of Hydrology and Metrology has recorded the minimum temperature of 2.8 degree Celsius and maximum of 19.2 degree Celsius in Kathmandu Valley today.

Likewise, Jumla District has recorded the lowest temperature of minus seven degree Celsius.
