The Valley, which is also the federal capital of the country, reported 445 cases on Thursday, 388 on Wednesday and 481 on Tuesday.

In view of the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the Valley, the District Administration Offices (DAOs) of three districts enforced a week-long prohibitory order starting August 19, which was extended twice and will end on September 9.

A recent decision by the Valley district administrations requires anyone entering the Valley to have a negative PCR test report effective from Thursday.
