Kathmandu’s legendary five-star hotel to be rebranded as  "The Soaltee Kathmandu”

KATHMANDU, May 14: Kathmandu’s premier landmark hotel Soaltee is all set to be rebranded as “The Soaltee Kathmandu” as a management agreement with Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) ends on May 14, 2021. 

The award-winning luxury property will be henceforth managed and operated by Soaltee Hotel Limited, who are the pioneers in the hospitality industry in Nepal with over 54 years of experience, according to a press statement issued by the hotel. 

Soaltee Hotel Limited is Nepal’s pioneer hospitality company. Besides “The Soaltee Kathmandu”, the company also owns LSG Sky Chefs Kathmandu, Nepal's only in-flight catering that matches up to world class standards and Horizon Lounge, an ISO 22000:2018 certified executive lounge at the departure terminal of Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. The company has also established "Soaltee Westend Premier" a five-star hotel in Nepalgunj, the only LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification hotel in Nepal from the US Green Building Council, USA.
