KATHMANDU, May 20: Karuna Foundation has donated 110 oxygen concentrators to the hospitals and agencies active in the treatment of COVID patients.
According to the foundation, 40 units of oxygen concentrators were provided to the Ministry of Health, 64 units to different hospitals treating COVID patients and the remaining six units to Karuna Foundation.
“In order to save the lives of the patients in this difficult situation and to keep the morale of the health workers high, Karuna Foundation Nepal has mobilized financial assistance collected from various organizations and individuals in the Netherlands,” the foundation said in a statement.
The materials were handed over to the hospitals concerned in the presence of Minister for Health and Population, Hridayesh Tripathi, on Tuesday.
