Karki had succeeded Kharel as the chief of Distrfict Police Office Kaski nine months ago.
Karki would be formally posted at MPRK following the posting of Kharel.
The police headquarters, meanwhile, had decided postings of newly promoted 25 SPs on Wednesday.
