Kalika Construction provides eight heavy equipments to NA

KATHMANDU, May 10: Kalika Construction Pvt Ltd has provided eight heavy equipments to the government for removing the debris of infrastructures severely damaged and demolished by the recent earthquake. The equipments have been given for three months free of cost.

Company director and lawmaker Bikram Pandey announced the handover of equipments to the Nepalese Army under the presence of Finance Minister Dr Ram Sharan Mahat. The NA could use the equipments in removing the vulnerable infrastructures and debris.


On the occasion, Minister Mahat said removing of destroyed and severely damaged infrastructures was the priority of the government in the aftermath of the devastating quake.

Some infrastructures needed immediate demolition, if they left as it is, they could cause damage to nearby houses, he said. He thanked the company for its support.

Company Director Pandey urged the people to lend helping hands to the government from their respective capacity in this moment of national crisis resulting from the recent catastrophe. RSS
