KATHMANDU, March 7: The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) has decided to submit the list of the party’s lawmakers to be included in the Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal-led Cabinet today.
JSP Spokesperson Manish Suman said that the authority to propose the names of the party’s leaders to be made ministers has been delegated to party Chairman Upendra Yadav, following a suggestion from the PM.
“We have reached a consensus. We have entrusted the chairman with the authority. The chairman will submit the list of ministerial names, including his own, this evening after consulting with the Prime Minister and leaders of other parties,” he said.

Suman hinted that Yadav himself might become a minister.
“The chairman, too, can become a minister,” he mentioned.
Discussions are underway regarding the appointment of ministers, including the Deputy Prime Minister and the Health Minister representing JSP.
The ministries of health and forest are without ministers at present.
