KATHMANDU, June 25: The Statute Convention of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal is starting today.
The convention will begin at Nepal Academy Hall in Kamaladi from 11:00 am, the party's Central Publicity Department Chief Purna Basnet said.

A total of 761 delegates including 406 Central Committee members as well as 10 people nominated from the Provincial Committee, National Committee, Special Provincial Committee, District Committee, metropolitan cities and sister organizations are participating in the convention.
A draft of the party's statue will be presented and discussed on the first day of the convention.
The party had organized its Central Committee meeting on Saturday for the final preparation and approval of the draft statute.
