KATHMANDU, Sept 27: The first ever meeting of the Nepal-China joint steering committee (JSC) which was to be held for two days from today in Kathmandu has been fixed for tomorrow only.
The Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation informed that the meeting will be held for a day on Friday.

According to the ministry spokesperson, Dinesh Kumar Ghimire, the meeting is fixed for Friday at 9 AM.
Secretary Anup Kumar Upadhyaya will be representing Nepal during the meeting.
During the meeting on Friday, Upadhyaya led representatives will hold talks with the Chinese counterparts regarding the construction of a Nepal-China cross-border transmission line and other transmission lines along with hydropower projects in Nepal.
