MAHOTARI, May 6: Journalist and social worker, Raj Karan Mahato, has announced he will contribute the money he received as part of an award for the education of children from the Musahar settlement.
Journalist Mahato made the announcement following the receipt of the 'Educationist Ram Ekbal Singh Education Journalism Award 2073'.He received Rs 5000 in cash prize in the award and additional Rs 5,000 from a newspaper.
He decided to hand over the total amount he received to the Janata Secondary School at Bardibas where the children from Integrated Model Musahar Settlement made by comedian duo Dhurmus and Suntali are enrolled. Mahato had earlier donated Rs 10,000 for the Musahar settlement. RSS
