KATHMANDU, May 12: Jazeera Airways has suspended its flights from Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA) in Lumbini.

Jazeera has stopped the Bhairahawa-Kuwait flight for about three weeks, the airport office said. According to Spokesperson of GBIA, Deepak Bajracharya, the airways said that the flight was stopped due to internal reasons.

“Jazeera has stopped flying for about three weeks. In the meantime, it was said that the flight would be resumed immediately. But it has not resumed flights yet,” he said.

Jazeera has been operating three flights a week to Kuwait since this airport began commercial operation. Meanwhile, Jazeera had stopped flying a few months earlier citing various reasons.
