KATHMANDU, Aug 2: Sri Lankan great Sanath Jayasuriya will lead World XI against Nepal during Bat for Nepal charity cricket match slated for August 9 in Malaysia.

According to Malaysia Cricket Association (MCA), the World XI will comprises wicketkeeper Rashid Latif (Pakistan), Aminul Islam (Bangladesh),Sohag Gazi (Bangladesh), Abdur Rassak (Bangladesh), Steve O'Keefe (Australia), Marcus Stoinis (Australia), Chetan Suryawangsi (Singapore), Suresh Navaratnam (Malaysia) and Ahmad Faiz (Malaysia).
One player representing India is yet to be confirmed, according to MCA, which is organizing the match to raise funds for the April 25 earthquake victims.
