Japanese national Kazumasa set up revolving fund

April 30: Japanese national Kazumasa Kakimi (Okaybaje) has set up a revolving fund at Sindur Basic School in Nisdi rural municipality-6, Archale.


In order to support educational pursuit of the school students, he established a revolving fund of Rs 80,000. Okaybaje has instituted the fund as per the agreement to spend the money for educational learning of all students of the school.

The revolving fund was set up to channelize support to the existing students of the school operated in remote part of the district, he further said. "I was motivated to do so after seeing the existing situation of the children", Hum Bahadur Sunari, principal of the school, said the revolving fund would be used to provide educational materials and scholarships to needy students. Students from grade 1 to 8 are studying in the school. Okabaje has been continuously engaging in the social service in Palpa for over two decades. He has also been coordinating with different organizations and individuals of Japan for social service and fund collection.
