Janardan Sharma leads in Rukum

ROLPA, Nov 22: The results of the first round of voting in Rukum West have been announced. When 742 votes were counted, Janardan Sharma of the Maoist Center, a candidate for the House of Representatives, got 359 votes.

Similarly, Nandaram Devkota of CPN-UML got 249 votes, Deepak Malla of RPP got 70 votes and independent candidate Tarak KC got 27 votes.

According to the results of the first phase of the provincial constituency No. 1, Mahendra KC, the candidate from the Left-Democratic Alliance, has taken the initial lead. While he got 355 votes, CPN-UML's Narayan Kumar Shah got 198 votes and RPP's Vinod Kumar Shah got 118 votes.
