The parties expressed such concerns in the backdrop of three murders in the town within the past five days.
The meeting urged political parties not to protect criminals and help the local administration to bring them to justice.
It has also demanded an end to ongoing criminal activities being executed in connivance with police personnel.
The meeting has decided to request the authorities concerned to ban illegal use of Indian mobile phones and vehicles and ask Janakpur Municapility to collect the personal details of all people living in the town.
