IYD Yuwak Yuwati Mela

Kathmandu, Aug 16 : ‘Yuwak Yuwati Mela’ a closing event of the International Youth Day (IYD) celebration week which started on Monday, August 12, is being held today at the Moksh Restaurant in Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur, with the participation of more than 15 organizations to share their stories and experiences with the youth visitors.



This year, as the IYD is emphasizing on youth migration and development, this event focuses on the need of engaging and including youth in migration debates and policies for enhancement of development, and is open to all youths.



The highlights of the event include information on foreign employment and migration, live music and performances, food stalls, momos to raise fund for Heart Beat’s ‘School on Wheels’ initiative, street theater and documentary screenings, among others.

The event will start at 11 am and last till 5 pm.
