Israeli envoy calls on Koirala

KATHMANDU, June 5: Ambassador of Israel to Nepal, Hanan Goder, called on President of the Nepali Congress, Sushil Koirala, at the latter´s residence in Maharajgunj, this morning.



On the occasion, they discussed latest political development of Nepal and the ongoing efforts among political parties to forge consensus on laws needed for the election to the Constituent Assembly (CA).[break]



Koirala said that talks are going on to bring the dissenting parties to consensus, as there was no alternative to CA election, and also expressed the confidence that the dissenting parties would participate in the election.
