The study carried out by PU Professors´ Association after "a thorough investigation" into PU´s activities says transactions of the university were not made public and transparent. [break]
The university has committed financial irregularities beyond the limitation and has been the "playground" of some people having partisan interest due to the short-sightedness of the administration, it says.
"The university does not have any short or long term programme", the report says. "The yearly budget and programmes, too, are not regular."
The study reports that PU has been issuing affiliations to private and regional campuses going against the existing regulations and rules. "In some cases, it was found that affiliations were provided even without receiving the money deposit required to pay to PU."
The association carried out the report based on the reports prepared by the auditor and chief of the account administration.
