KATHMANDU, May 18: Foreign guests participating in the ‘Sagarmatha Sambaad’ event were taken on a mountain flight to showcase a panoramic view of the Himalayan range, including the highest peak, Mt Sagarmatha.
The foreign guests were taken on a mountain flight under the leadership of the Minister for Forests and Environment, Ain Bahadur Shahi. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Nepal Tourism Board provided necessary coordination in this regard.

In the approximately one-hour mountain flight, guests were able to get a close panoramic view of Mount Sagarmatha, or Everest, Makalu, Nupse, Gauri Shankar, and other mountain ranges.
Chief Executive Officer of the Nepal Tourism Board, Deepak Raj Joshi, shared that the mountain flight was made available to the foreign guests with the aim of promoting adventure tourism destinations in the country.
The first-ever international ‘Sagarmatha Sambaad’ on ‘Climate Change, Mountains, and the Future of Humanity’ is being attended by more than 350 distinguished individuals from Nepal and abroad.
