“The program has been organized in order to have an inter cultural literary exchange with the American writers,” said Suvani Singh, co founder of Quixote’s Cove.
Singh further said that the Poetry Slam, organized by QC, had been successful and once this report went back to the US Embassy’s headquarters in Washington DC, they asked the embassy here if they could organize the writers program in Nepal as well.

“There is also a similar program being held in Pakistan so we took the opportunity to organize this program here as well,” she said.
“We have also invited 180 Nepali writers for discussions and interaction programs. Various students from different colleges and schools have been invited to take part in the workshop,” Singh further added.
Poet and Columbia University, Professor Bob Holman has published eight books and also performed on MTV’s Spoken Word Unplugged and HBO’s Def Poetry Jam.
