KATHMANDU, March 28: A female Armed Police Force (APF) officer has sustained head injuries after being attacked by pro-monarchy protesters. The pro-monarchy protest in Tinkune, Kathmandu, turned violent as protesters attempted to storm into restricted areas. 


The incident occurred during a clash when the protesters attempted to breach a restricted area.

As the royalist movement became more aggressive, the police used tear gas, while the protesters threw stones and set fires.


Meanwhile, protesters have seized a gun carried by a security officer. Protestors from the pro-monarchy group reportedly snatched a tear gas gun from the security personnel.
