KATHMANDU, Sep 3: Foreign Minister Dr Arzu Rana Deuba has stated that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a positive response to the invitation to visit Nepal.
Speaking at the International Relations and Tourism Committee under the House of Representatives on Tuesday, Minister Rana said that she conveyed the greetings and best wishes from PM KP Sharma Oli to Indian PM Narendra Modi and formally handed over the invitation letter for a state visit to Nepal.

“The Indian Prime Minister has gladly accepted the invitation and gave a positive response regarding visiting Nepal,” she said.
Minister Rana was on an India visit at the invitation of Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar from August 18 to 22.
Dr Rana said she had a courtesy meeting with PM Modi in New Delhi on August 21.
