KATHMANDU, March 2: Indian Minister for Finance Arun Jaitley said that the hard working people of Nepal and government's positive policy have created conducive environment for the investment in Nepal.
Addressing at the Nepal Investment Summit, which began on Thursday, Indian Minister Jaitley said that the bilateral relation between Nepal and India goes beyond just as being neighbors and added that there is an opportunity for investors in Nepal.
Jaitley sees great investment potential in Nepal
He also said that India is committed to partner Nepal in various sectors. "India is committed to partner Nepal in its aspirations for growth, invest in hydropower, connect Nepal with India's rail network, irrigation, health and education sectors, transmission lines, roads and bridges," said Jaitley.
Indian Minister arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday morning to attend the summit that started in the Capital on Thursday.
The theme of the summit is, "Harnessing Investment Opportunities in Nepal." More than 200 investors from 25 countries are participating in the two-day meet hosted by the Nepal government.
