During the meeting, the Indian envoy is said to have stressed on the implementation of the five-point deal reached among major political parties last week. [break]
Prasad is also said to have urged the UML chairman to join the current Baburam Bhattarai-led government formed as part of the deal on power sharing and drafting of the new constitution.
A day earlier, the Indian envoy had met Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala and discussed political efforts on building consensus for resolution of the disputed issues surrounding the constitution writing process.
