KATHMANDU, March 10: Indian Ambassador to Nepal Vinay Mohan Kwatra called on speaker of the House of Representatives Agni Prasad Sapkota at the latter's office today.
During the meeting, the various matters of bilateral ties were discussed, according to the speaker's secretariat. Press advisor to the speaker Shreedhar Neupane told reporters that the duo held talks on further enhancing multifaceted bilateral ties between the two countries. Speaker Sapkota lauded India's ongoing support to Nepal's post-earthquake reconstruction and battling the coronavirus epidemic.
Japanese Ambassador calls on speaker Sapkota
On the occasion, the duo discussed about further promoting ties between the Nepali and Indian parliaments. This is the first meeting between Kwatra and Sapkota since the former arrived in Nepal to take up his new diplomatic assignment last week.
