KATHMANDU, Dec 22: India have won the U-19 Women's Asia Cup, defeating Bangladesh by 41 runs in the final match held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Sunday.
Bangladesh won the toss and chose to field first. India set a target of 118 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. India's opener, Gongadi Trisha, top-scored with 52 runs, whereas Bangladesh's Farjana Easmin claimed four wickets.

Chasing the target of 118, Bangladesh were bowled out for 76 runs in 18.3 overs. Juairiya Ferdous was the top scorer for Bangladesh with 22 runs, while nine other batters failed to reach double figures. Likewise, Ayushi Shukla took three wickets for India.
