India takes mortal remains of Dhading victims back home

KATHMANDU, April 23: The Government of India today airlifted its citizens injured in a bus accident on Wednesday in Dhading and the bodies of those killed in the incident to India by a special aircraft of the Indian Air Force.

The Indian Air Force plane had arrived Nepal at 11.30 am today with the coordination of the Embassy of India, Kathmandu. The plane took off from here carrying the accident deceased and the injured at 3.25 pm, Birendra Shrestha, the Acting General Manager at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), said.Seventeen Indian pilgrims were killed in the incident that took place at Jhyaple Khola along the Tribhuvan Highway in Dhading district on Wednesday morning. It fell down 300 metres from the road. The ill-fated bus was carrying 45 people and heading towards Gorakhpur of India from Kathmandu. RSS
