KATHMANDU, March 22: Independent member in the Lumbini Province Assembly, Surul Pun, has decided to rejoin the CPN (Maoist Center).
Pun on Monday wrote to the Maoist Centre Lumbini Province parliamentary party's office informing it about his decision to rejoin the party. He was elected to the Lumbini Province Assembly from Rukum East through the November 20 election by defeating Tej Bahadur Oli, the candidate from the then ruling alliance. He announced his candidacy as a rival candidate from the CPN (Maoist Center). With this, the Maoist Center has 11 members in the Lumbini Province Assembly.
