In Pictures: Cabbies protest by parking taxis in front of DoT

KATHMANDU, Aug 10: Nepal Meter Taxi Entrepreneur’s Association (NMTEA), an umbrella organization of registered taxi operators in the country, staged a demonstration by parking taxis in front of the Department of Transport (DoT), on Thursday.

Taxi operators protested stating that private vehicles were carrying passengers. They kept about 300 taxis on the road and chanted slogans.
