IN PICS: Farmers busy harvesting paddy in Sankhu

KATHMANDU, Sept 18: Farmers around Sankhu, Kathmandu, are busy harvesting paddy these days.

The paddy is usually planted in the month of June in Nepal.

Bad weather has, however, posed extra challenges to farmers in harvesting paddy as heavy rain damages the crop.

Farmers racing to harvest paddy in time is the common picture these days around the Kathmandu Valley.
