Impeachment motion will reach conclusion: leader Pun

POKHARA, Nov 12: CPN (Maoist Center) leader, Barshaman Pun, today claimed that the impeachment proposal against Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) Chief, Lokman Singh Karki, will come to a conclusion.

POKHARA, Nov 12: CPN (Maoist Center) leader, Barshaman Pun, today claimed that the impeachment proposal against Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) Chief, Lokman Singh Karki, will come to a conclusion. 



At a press meet organized by Press Centre Nepal, Kaski, leader Pun said the chief of a constitutional body supposed to control corruption was himself drenched in corruption, given to misusing power and terrorizing all the state mechanism. He said the major three parties had taken a decision to endorse the impeachment motion. 



Pun said the government led by Prime Minister, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, had completed a successful 100 days in office with good works under its belt and also succeeded in warming the relations between Nepal and India and reviving mutual trust after a spell of bitterness. 



The former Finance Minister also spoke of the preparations to register a proposal in the parliament at the end of the Nepali month of Kartik to address the grievances of the Madhesi Front by amending the constitution. RSS
