Illegal mining in Deukhuri, 10 tractors under control

DANG, April 9: A team of the Armed Police Force (APF) has taken 10 tractors under control on the charge of illegally mining sand.

APF Inspector Ishwor DC informed Republica that the tractors were seized from the place where illegal mining was going on at 2 AM on Sunday in the Arjun River located in Lamahi Municipality-7 Bangai and Hasnapur.

A patrol team led by APF Inspector DC seized six tractors from Lamahi Municipality-7, Bangai, and the patrol team under the leadership of APF Inspector Chhabilal Kunwar seized four tractors with sand from Lamahi Municipality-7, Hasnapur.

According to the APF, the seized tractors have been taken for necessary legal action.
