Upon knowing that he has been in Australia for a year, many said that he has now settled abroad and bid adieu to Nepali screen before launching himself as an actor to look up to.
Even the producer of Kusume Rumal, Uddhab Poudel said that he was clueless about Niraj Baral’s stay in Australia and had no idea of his return date. Amidst the speculations and gossips mongering about him in the tinsel town myrepublica caught up with this upcoming actor through Facebook wherein he shared about his stay in Australia, his future plans and unveiled the time he is going to come back.

Currently residing in Melbourne, Australia, actor Baral made it loud and clear that he has not said good bye to Nepali film industry nor does he intend to.
“Many people back in Nepal have an opinion that I’ve applied for Australian “PR” (Permanent Residency) and they think I may never come back to Nepal now. Through your paper I want to make it crystal clear that it’s nothing like that,” Baral enunciated.
Upon completing his graduation in business administration, he preferred to give continuation to his academics before he could work as a fulltime actor. That was why he opted for a MBA (Masters in Business Administration) and went to Melbourne to attain his post graduate honors degree. But he changed his plans as soon as he was there. He was done with shooting for Kusume Rumal when he decided to study in Australia. He suddenly felt like going for film studies and changed his faculty immediately.
“While I was shooting for Kusume Rumal, I engaged myself a lot in watching some selected Nepali movies. I eventually realized how we are still way behind in terms of introducing proper graphics and animation slots into cinemas. So, after I came to Melbourne I realized I could study these aspects here and can contribute my best when I come back to my country,” he revealed. “I did miss the grand premiere of Kusume Rumal but I’m happy to hear that the movie is doing great; both in Kathmandu and elsewhere. I did work very hard for my first film, you know,” he concluded.
Baral requests his fans and film producers in Nepal to have faith in him as he promises to come back once he completes his studies. He further assured that he is going to come back with a bang. He reassures that he will try to introduce those technical tits and bits in Nepali films that people have hardly had a chance to see so far.
His upcoming film “Deepshikha” is soon to release.
