Ilam-2 By-election: NC proposes seven candidates

ILAM, March 21: The regional committee of the Nepali Congress (NC) has selected 7 candidates for the upcoming by-election to the House of Representatives in Ilam-2, set to take place on April 27.

ILAM, March 21: The regional committee of the Nepali Congress (NC) has selected 7 candidates for the upcoming by-election to the House of Representatives in Ilam-2, set to take place on April 27.


The Ilam-2 regional working committee of the NC, in a joint meeting of provincial representatives and members of the Mahasamiti, has unanimously recommended the names of these 7 candidates.

According to NC sources, the party has chosen Bhesraj Acharya, Dambar Bahadur Khadka, Keshav Thapa, Nagendra Kumal, Ramesh Lingden, Chandramaya Limbu, and Shantikala Rai Tamang as their nominees.


The recommended names will be forwarded to the provincial working committee with recommendations by March 21.


Subsequently, the province will forward the names of the aspiring candidates to the central committee by March 23
