Entitled “Iku Back Again,” the film this time, as its makers promise, is going to be big. “The investment this time is huge. From budget to efforts, we have everything we could to make the second part even more exciting,” said Sagar Lamichhane, the director of the film. [break]
The makers claim to have invested Rs 7.5 million into the making of the film. The previous installment was completed in Rs two million.
This edition of “Iku” is a sequel, and therefore, the story takes off from where the first part ended. This time, however, the film is not solely based on the life of Iku; it tells the story of the Raute community, too. Thinle Thundup Lama of “Caravan” fame is an additional cast to the film. He plays the Raute community leader.
“We’ve worked hard building a huge set for the Raute community village,” said Buddhi Lal Magar, the production designer of the film.

The film’s cast includes Suleman Shankar, Jaya Shankher, Rabi Dangol, Bishnu Sapkota along with Rashmi Bhatt.
Iku Back Again is directed by Sagar Lamichhane and written by Shivam Adhikari. The cinematography is by Purushottam Pradhan while the producers for the film are Suleman Shanker and Mohan Ale Magar.
The film is to be released this Friday, April 20 at QFX Cinemas and all over Nepal.
