IFIC Bank buys NB Bank's promoter's shares

KATHMANDU: IFIC Bank has completed purchase of 2,914,012 units of promoters sahres of Nepal Bangladesh (NB) Bank.



According to a press statement issued by Nepal Stock Exchange Limited, the transaction was made through Crystal Kanchanjungha Securities and Deepshikha Dhitopatra Karobar Company at the rate of Rs 260 per unit. [break]



NB Bank had initiated the process to sell its promoters shares after receiving permission from the Nepal Rastra Bank to recover loans taken by its Nepali promoters.
