IFC, Global IME Bank discuss mutual cooperation

KATHMANDU, Nov 11: The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has held a meeting with Global IME Bank Ltd (GIBL) to discuss about mutual cooperation between the two institutions.

KATHMANDU, Nov 11: The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has held a meeting with Global IME Bank Ltd (GIBL) to discuss about mutual cooperation between the two institutions.



Issuing a statement, the bank said that meeting was held between GIBL Chairman Chandra Prasad Dhakal and Mengitsu Alemayehu, Regional Director of IFC, on Thursday.



According to the statement, Anil Gyawali, CEO of Global IME Bank, and  IFC's regional management team, including IFC Country Manager Wendy Werner, were also present in the meeting.



IFC works with financial institutions through products including investment and advisory support to provide access to finance for individuals and micro, small and medium enterprises.
