ICFC opens 5th branch<br/>FZ team crosses Rongbuk

KATHMANDU, July 22: ICFC Bittiya Sanstha Limited has opened its fifth branch in Bhairahawa. “The branch offers all banking services, including internet banking and any time banking service,” states a press release issued by the bank on Wednesday. [break]



The financial institution, which has entered into sixth year of operation, has mobilized deposits of more than Rs 1.50 billion and extended loans of Rs 1.40 billion, while managing to earn a profit of Rs 70 million. “ICFC plans to extend its reach in other parts of the country as well,” adds the release.





FZ team crosses Rongbuk



KATHMANDU, July 22: Yamaha FZ team headed to Mt Everest under the campaign ´Road Trip to Everest´ has crossed Rongbuk of Tibet, which is situated at 5,100 meters. The team started its journey towards the Everest Base Camp on Wednesday, states a press release issued on Monday by Morang Auto Works.



A team of 10 riders comprising singer Nima Rumba, national player Dipak Bista and mediaperson Suraj Singh Thakuri and lucky winners had left Katmandu on Saturday for the base camp. After the acclimatization at Nyalam, the team drove to the highest plateau of the world on Yamaha FZ.



The trip was organized to prove excellent performance of the bike even in unfavorable situation.
