KATHMANDU, Sept 18: Chief Minister of Bagmati Province, Asta Laxmi Shakya has said that she will receive the vote of confidence in the provincial assembly with the help of the CPN (Unified Socialist) led by Madhav Kumar Nepal. Speaking with media persons at Bardibas in Mahottari, she said that she became the chief minister with the help of CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal.
CPN (Unified Socialist) decides to support govt to pass budget
Although her government is in a minority in the province, Minister Shakya claimed that she will get the vote of confidence with the support of the provincial assembly members of CPN (Unified Socialist) within a few days.
Furthermore, CM Shakya said that leader Nepal had played a major role in strengthening the CPN-UML and that his departure from the party has made the UML weak. She also urged leader Nepal to return to CPN-UML. Shakya said that everyone should leave their personal agendas to make the CPN-UML a major political force of the country.
