KATHMANDU, April 28: CPN (Unified Socialist) and CPN (Unified) are set to be merged.
Secretary of the Publicity Department of the CPN (Unified Socialist), Prakash Khatiwada, said that the CPN (US) is going to unite with CPN (Unified) as per the policy of making the communist force stronger by uniting political parties, and organizations close to CPN (US) in ideology and principle and use the communist movement in favor of the country's development.

The unification assembly between the two parties would be organized at the central office of the CPN (US) on April 28 in the presence of CPN (US) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal and CPN (Unified) Chairman Alok Rayamajhi.
