KATHMANDU, Dec 7: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Prakash Man Singh has claimed that he will be the unanimous candidate for the post of NC president from the rival faction.
Speaking at a program in Kathmandu on Monday, leader Singh said that it was his time to become the party’s president as he was a natural candidate for the post. Singh claimed that he will use his political experience to lead the party in an institutional and systematic way and solve the party’s problems in an appropriate way after his election to party's leadership

Furthermore, Singh said that meetings have been held several times to choose a common candidate from the rival faction of the party and a decision will be reached after holding discussions today.
