It’s been 12 years since Nepal was declared as a Republic. However, singer Badri Pangeni feels that Nepal is not a Republic country. In conversation with Manoj Gajurel at Nagarik Network based commercial show ‘Dhukka Hunuhos’, where Gajurel hosted the program as Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Pangeni said that he doesn’t feel like Nepal is a Republic country.  “We want a Republic country, of equality. Where, people are not judged in terms like caste, sex and economic status. And we have been raising our voices to bring this change in the country,” said Pangeni.

Giving an example of his hair, Pangeni delivers a satirical reply to president of NCP, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, “My hair has grown like a bush but still it looks bad because I am not managing it properly.” He added, “Your party is just like my hair. Your party has grown well but there is a lack of management. This problem has created a chaotic situation in the entire country.”
